Since meeting Ndaanis I have been doing my best to keep her spirits high. I have gone to visit her almost on a daily basis bringing her things that puts smiles on her face or just checking to see how she is feeling. A very special bond has developed between us, we chat everyday with Ndaanis always ending the conversation with thank you, I love you lots.
I am very happy that the TLC Foundation has been by Ndaanis‘s side helping her get through this very difficult time. We have been there to give her things to help keep herself busy and things that make her happy . We are also helping to decorate her hospital room to make it feel a little bit more like home. Sometimes we just bring her some comfort food or a carton of her favourite drink, strawberry fruitopia .
Ndaanis has good and bad days. The bad days are heartbreaking to watch ,I sometimes feel helpless because there is nothing I can do to help relieve her pain. No child should ever suffer like this, I wish I could take their pain away but I can’t so on the good days I make sure they are the best days ever!!
Ndaanis knows that I love her lots and I will do anything for her. I will be there for her and her family, I made a promise to her and nothing will stop me from fulfilling this promise! Something really special has happened between Ndaanis and I, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be part of her life. I am still hoping to fulfill her original wish, the reason why we had to meet but if that is not possible I believe we might have met for other reasons.
