Since meeting Ndaanis I have been doing my best to …

Since meeting Ndaanis I have been doing my best to keep her spirits high. I have gone to visit her almost on a daily basis bringing her things that puts smiles on her face or just checking to see how she is feeling. A very special bond has developed between us, we chat everyday with Ndaanis always ending the conversation with thank you, I love you lots. I am very happy that the TLC Foundation has been by Ndaanis‘s side helping her get through this very difficult time. We have been there to give her things to help keep herself busy and things that make her happy . We are also helping to decorate her hospital room to make it feel a little bit more like home. Sometimes we just bring her some comfort food or a carton of her favourite drink, strawberry fruitopia . Ndaanis has good and bad days. The bad days are heartbreaking to watch ,I sometimes feel helpless because there is nothing I can do to help relieve her pain. No child should ever suffer like this, I wish I could take their pain away but I can’t so on the good days I make sure they are the best days ever!! Ndaanis knows that I love her lots and I will do anything for her. I will be there for her and her family, I made a promise to her and nothing will stop me from fulfilling this promise! Something really special has happened between Ndaanis and I, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be part of her life. I am still hoping to fulfill her original wish, the reason why we had to meet but if that is not possible I believe we might have met for other...

Thank you to the individual that reached out to me …

Thank you to the individual that reached out to me to help put smiles on the face of this beautiful child, Ndaanis. Without your love and compassion I wouldn’t have had the chance to be there for her and her family during a very sad time in their lives. No matter how difficult it sometimes can be to help these deserving children nothing can more difficult then what they have to go...

Today I visited my friend Ndaanis. I was very excited to see her as I had a special video to show her. On my last visit with her I found out that she and her family are big fans of Criss Angel, they would have family nights watching his show. What I was able to accomplish in a very short time is to say the least heartwarming and magical. I’m so happy Criss Angel helped me bring some hope to this beautiful child. Ndaanis doesn’t have much time with us , I will make sure I put lots of smiles on her face in the little time we have together. I have some amazing things planned for her in the next few days, let’s all pray that she gets the strength to be able to leave the hospital for a few days. Ndaanis is the bravest child I’ve ever met, how she is dealing with this illness is beyond inspiring. I hope everyone shares this very emotional video, the world should know that there is still hope and compassion out there and that your loving actions can change a life in a positive...

It’s been over 2 weeks since Layla had surgery to remove some cancer from her brain. I’ve gone to see her almost everyday but normally she is sound a asleep. Today I got to talk to Layla, she was awake enough to give me some smiles. I’m so happy to see Layla improving just a little bit ever day. It’s going to be a long road to her recovery but she is slowly getting better every day and that makes me very happy! My heart was filled with joy when I said goodbye to Layla, she extended her one arm to give me a hug. When Layla hugged me I could tell she was giving me all the energy she had, I think she was trying tell me that everything is going to be OK. Layla is truly someone special, she doesn’t need to say a thing for people to realize that , you just need a hug from her and you will know...

It’s going to be very difficult for me to sleep tonight knowing the task that’s on hand for me tomorrow. I’m excited and very sad at the same time knowing that tomorrow I will be visiting a little girl that I have to do all I can for as she only has a short time with us. I’m excited because I am going to be able to give her some smiles with what I have to show her and what I have planned for her in the next few days. Im very sad because I wish I had more time to do all the things I wanted to do for her but her illness won’t let me. I have something very special in store for my little friend tomorrow. I’m praying very hard that I will be able to give everything she has wished for but I know that time isn’t on our side. I take what I do for the TLC Foundation very seriously,I give it my all! What I’m about to do tomorrow is not going to be easy but I’m very grateful to be given the opportunity to be able to put some smiles on these amazing children. I know the big guy upstairs will be with me tomorrow to lend support, I sometimes need a little help from above to give me the strength I need for these deserving...

Yesterday I went to the hospital to visit my …

Yesterday I went to the hospital to visit my friend Ceazon and deliver him a birthday present. Unfortunately by the time I arrived Ceazon was asleep, recovering from one of his procedures. I felt it was best not to wake him up. To surprise Ceazon his birthday present was placed beside his bed. I wish I could have been there to see the expressions on Ceazons face when he eventually woke up and saw this gift , I’m sure it brought some smiles and happiness. This is what the TLC Foundation is all about, bringing smiles and happiness to these very deserving...

Thank you to everyone that sent good thoughts and …

Thank you to everyone that sent good thoughts and prayers to my dear friend Layla. I got to spend some time with her today and I was very happy to see that she is doing better. Layla was able to communicate with me by giving me a thumbs up and nodding her head. When I told her that I have a big surprise waiting for her when she awoke she squeezed my hand so tight in excitement. Everything I witnessed today looked promising but there are still several unknowns and she still has some fighting to do, please continue to pray for her recovery. I am so blessed to get to know these amazing children, children like Layla, they fight everyday and they are all my heroes. I have learned so much from these children, they have taught me that I must fight harder to be able to continue doing all the great things the TLC Foundation does for these amazing children. To all those individuals that want to prevent the TLC Foundation from assisting children all I can say is that I will not give up because children like Layla need me and I need...

My dear friend Layla went through brain surgery to remove the newly found cancer. Yesterday I sat beside her bed holding her hand praying that she awakes , praying that the surgery was a success, praying that their was no damage done to her brain during this very complicated surgery. The doctors and nurses in the children’s critical care unit are truly amazing, Layla is receiving the best care possible by theses amazing individuals. Layla is a true fighter already battling and beating cancer once before then this other cruel and unexpected cancer returns to the other side of her brain. Let’s all pray that Layla recovers from this surgery. Layla can’t fight this alone she and her family need our help. Thank...
