As much as the TLC Foundation does some amazing things to put smiles on the faces of some very sick kids there are times when we feel very helpless. Last week I received a call to visit a very special boy who was very sick. I brought the child his favorite things but I became very sad when I could see that he was too sick to enjoy them, I wish I could have brought him these items earlier. Unfortunately the little boy pasted away a few days after my visit. I get some comfort in knowing that the TLC was there for him and his family when he was well enough to go on a trip that provided so many great memories for the family. The memories of this trip will last forever, the little boy talked about this trip a few days before he passed.
Thank you to everyone that made this trip possible, without your support we could not have provided the memories for this family, memories that will last forever.
