A Message From the TLC Foundation
It was a very busy year for the TLC Foundation providing hundreds and hundreds of children with smiles and that wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the support of hundreds of individuals. To everyone that supported the charity through financial contributions, the giving of their time, or donating their services, we couldn’t have done it without you. From the bottom of my heart thank you!!
Our 4th year at Santa’s House in Victoria park was visited by thousands of people from near and far all in an effort to make a donation to help us help kids. Santa’s House also became a place where people who couldn’t afford a picture with Santa and visits from some special friends from the Children’s Hospital were welcomed with open arms. Unfortunately some of Santa’s House success is based on weather and due to the rain, our first week didn’t hit 2017’s numbers. However, when the weather did cooperate people came out in droves. To everyone who came out to support us at Santa’s House thank you !!
Attached are some pictures of children whose faces we put smiles on in 2018. Unfortunately a few of the children in these photos are no longer with us. I have been blessed to have met them and get comfort in knowing we did all we could to brighten up their day when smiles were hard to come by.
I hope that the TLC Foundation can continue to put many more smiles on children’s faces in 2019. I know I will do everything I can to make that possible no matter what obstacles are put in our way !!!!
