I was overwhelmed by the reaction I received to my post regarding my experience at EB Games. To all of you that commented, shared or reacted to my post, I would like to thank you for caring and thank you for being on the TLC Foundation’s team but most importantly thank you for wanting to help me help kids. Without your support the TLC could not do all of the amazing things it does for kids. You are the heart that keeps me going! Over the week I have had numerous conversations with EB Games Management. I was informed that this unfortunate situation should have never happened; someone should have stepped in and sold me the units. EB Games management were quick to ask me to erase my post and tried to solve this as best they could. Unfortunately, in my opinion, EB Games management fell short in trying to rectify this situation for TLC. Thank you to Jumbo Video for stepping in and offering the TLC Foundation a great deal on all of the purchases. Jumbo Video has also stated that they will assist the TLC Foundation with any future purchases, to help me help kids. Thank you to Jorge Cubias who came forward and donated a gaming system to the kids. Thank you Jorge for your generosity! Thank you to Best Buy who has committed to helping me with the purchase of TV’s that each gaming unit will need. Thank you to all who wanted to help in one way or another, your assistance was very much appreciated. So in summary, a lot of good came out of an unfortunate situation. I believe things happen for a reason, sometimes we will never know the reason but not like in this case the reason is very clear. Do all you can when someone is asking for help. The great people of London and surrounding areas will be there to ensure you get the support you need. God Bless Leo...

All TLC wanted to do was buy some gaming systems …

All TLC wanted to do was buy some gaming systems for the hospital. Why do things have to be so difficult sometimes when all you are trying to do is help others? I recently walked into EB games in White Oaks Mall to purchase 8 gaming systems and games for the children’s hospital. The gaming systems that the hospital currently has are broken and outdated. TLC was asked to get them new ones so that the kids could have something to keep them occupied while be treated in the hospital. I wanted EB Games to take all of the old games and systems and give me a credit towards the new ones. I was shocked and puzzled when the sales staff who were just following company policy, informed me that they could not sell TLC 8 gaming systems. The charity was only allowed to buy one. I tried to explain to her the purpose of the purchase and at that point she called her Manager to get permission to sell TLC the systems. The Manager came back with the same answer; NO you cannot purchase more than one gaming system. For those people that know me and when it comes to helping kids I don’t take NO too easily. Yes TLC could purchase the systems somewhere else but I would like to trade all of the old games and systems in to help reduce the cost of the new ones and I wanted to get them to the hospital that day. At that point I was getting very upset and to the life of me could not understand after knowing, who and where they were for, no one was able to help me. The sales staff could see the frustration in my face and informed me that I would be getting a call from the corporate office hoping that they may be able to help me. It’s been two weeks and I have yet to receive a call. All I can say to the kids in the hospital, I am truly sorry that TLC has yet to purchase you these new gaming systems. TLC promises to get them to...
