Thank you to everyone that responded to the ‘Family needs our help” post. Together with your help we were able to help the family in many ways. The family will be in London for the next few months while their son endures a very challenging recover process. The donations that were received will help the family with many expenses, food, clothing, housing, daily parking, day to day necessities and most of all we will be there to lend them a shoulder to cry on. If you would still like to help this family please contact me by email larizzahome@msn.com, due to the length of their stay in London, thousands and thousands of dollars will need to be raised. What has really amazed me is some of the responses that I have received. Families that were once helped by the TLC Foundation have come forward to help this family. Families that the TLC has touched have made a donation in memory of their deceased child. The responses have been incredible to say the least. Thank you to all that responded to this post. I sometimes experience the terrible sides of people, people who don’t think of other people’s feelings especially when it deals with kids. I don’t always get a warm and fussing feeling when dealing with people on a day to day basis. The charity helps me put everything in perspective. There are so many wonderful people in this world, all of you that have donated time or money to the TLC or have forwarded the ‘Family needs our help” post or shared the TLC Foundation with family and friends or have done something for your charity of choice, you are the ones that make dealing with the selfish and grumpy people easier to handle, you are helping people in need and that is one of the greatest things you can do for others.
